Share files between devices on the same Wi-Fi — no app, no signup

any-share is a free, web-based tool for sharing files, photos, documents, and text directly between devices on the same Wi-Fi network. Open any-share.site on both devices, enter a 6-digit code to pair them, and the files transfer over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

How to share files between your phone and PC

  1. Open any-share.site on both devices on the same Wi-Fi.
  2. Each device shows its own 6-digit code.
  3. On one device, type the other device's code (or scan its QR code) and tap Connect.
  4. Accept the request — both screens show a matching word so you know it's the right device.
  5. Drop or choose files, or type text, to send them directly between the two devices.

Frequently asked questions

Is any-share free?
Yes — completely free, with no account, no signup, and no ads.
Do I need to install an app?
No. any-share runs entirely in your web browser. You can optionally add it to your home screen.
Is it private and secure?
Files transfer directly between the two devices over an end-to-end encrypted (WebRTC) connection and are never uploaded to or stored on a server. You only connect to a device whose 6-digit code you were given.
Does it work on locked-down lab or university Wi-Fi?
It works on networks that allow direct device-to-device connections, such as most home and hotspot Wi-Fi. Some university or lab networks use “client isolation”, which blocks direct connections between devices even on the same Wi-Fi — on those networks local-only transfer cannot connect.
What can I send?
Any file type — photos, videos, documents, and more — multiple files at once, plus text and clipboard snippets.
